Custom Fabrication

Your Vision,
Precisely Built

KWF delivers custom metal fabrication tailored exactly to your specs. Whether you need one-of-a-kind parts, proprietary structures, or specialized equipment, our team has the skill and experience to make it happen and make it last.

What Is Custom Fabrication?

Custom fabrication means transforming raw metal into unique parts or structures designed just for you. Unlike mass production, every project is built to your exact requirements using cutting, bending, shaping, and welding techniques that bring your ideas to life.

The Right Tools For the Job

From heavy plate work to intricate cuts, our shop is equipped to handle a wide range of custom fabrication projects. At KWF, we use a pulse mig welding process. We also invest in state-of-the-art equipment and certified welders to ensure every piece meets the highest standards for precision and durability.

Our Process

Every custom project starts with understanding exactly what you need. Our team collaborates with you through every step from CAD design and material selection to final weld and finishing to make sure the end result fits your application perfectly.

1

PROJECT KICKOFF

You bring the idea, we bring it to life.

Clients often come to KWF with a concept, a sketch, or fully developed blueprints. If you already have designs in hand, we’ll review them to understand the scope and prepare a detailed quote. If not, we’ll start with a design and engineering phase.

2

QUOTE + SCOPE OF WORK

Upfront estimates with no surprises.

We’ll provide a complete quote that includes design, engineering (if needed), and fabrication costs. You’ll know exactly what’s involved before we move forward.

3

DESIGN & ENGINEERING (IF NEEDED)

From ideas to build-ready plans.

If you don’t already have blueprints, our team will create CAD drawings and 3D models to visualize the final product. You’ll be able to “test-drive” the design before fabrication begins.

4

APPROVAL PHASE

Nothing moves forward without your sign-off.

We’ll send you finalized drawings or models for review. Once approved, we lock in the timeline and begin prepping for fabrication.

5

FABRICATION & LEAD TIME

Built to spec, on time.

With approvals in place, we determine lead time and begin the fabrication process of cutting, bending, welding, and finishing every piece with precision.

6

SHIPPING & DELIVERY

We ship it where it needs to go.

Once complete, we handle packaging and freight. Shipping costs vary based on the season and current freight rates, and we’re always transparent about timing and charges.
